Thriving in an unstable world: Geopolitics, AI and sustainable development
About
Current geopolitical tensions disrupt global economic equilibrium, complicate trade, and weaken corporate competitiveness. Simultaneously, the transition to sustainable development, a crucial and urgent global issue, is becoming essential for organizations. In this unstable context, artificial intelligence represents both a tool for predictive analysis of geopolitical risks and a lever for operational efficiency gains.
How can we reconcile the imperatives of economic competitiveness, strategic independence, and sustainable development objectives? How can we leverage AI to anticipate geopolitical turbulence while accelerating our transformation towards more responsible practices? The need for innovative business models and strategic partnerships has never been more pressing.
To explore these questions, this Dialogue will bring together:
- Dominique Anglade, co-leader of sustainable transition and associate professor, HEC Montréal
- Rodolphe Desbordes, Professor of Economics, SKEMA Business School France
It’s an opportunity to exchange views with these experts on concerns linked to the strategic issues of geopolitical instability, sustainable development, and the integration of AI, as well as to identify concrete avenues for action.
